Things heated up in the JV races, beginning with the boys 5k (slight short). Wellesley showed their strength by sweeping the top three spots, despite a large pack sticking together for the first half of the race. Luke Collins took first in 16:41, followed by teammates Zach Barry (16:43) and Luke Cohen-Abeles (16:47). Fourth-place honors went to Ethan French of Brookline (16:55), and fifth went to Robert Strollo, who had led the race earlier on, with a time of 16:59.
