Erik Duffy of North Andover cleared the 16ft barrier at the MIAA D2 Divisional Championships. Duffy cleared 16'0.50 to better the old state record by a 1/2 inch. In 2012 Brendan Sullivan of Westford Academy was the first Mass Pole Vaulter to clear the 16ft barrier.
