Might be the best interview ever done on MileSplit with Norton's Abu Ceesay after his big day at the MIAA Division 4 Championships winning the 55 meter dash, 300 meter dash, and anchoring his 4x200 meter relay to the win. All those efforts by Ceesay helped his Norton squad to a runaway team title in Division 4. For those who are not aware, Ceesay is deaf and the interview was conducted by Steve Infascelli with his sign language translator assisting.
Ceesay showed that he does not need words, but only needed his feet to do the talking about his incredible day with a 6.47 meet record in the 55 meter dash, a near meet record in the 300 meter dash in 34.84 PR, and a stellar anchor leg to lead Norton boys 4x200 to a 1:30.61 meet record in that event as well. Looking forward to following and rooting for Ceesay in his next major competitions at the MIAA All State Meet and New Balance Nationals.
