MSTCA Coaches Meet: Small School Recap !

Here is a rundown of all the D2 winners at yesterday's D2 MSTCA Coaches Invitational.

Brandon Hall of Hopedale held off a charging Nico Agosta of Parker Charter to take the D2 Boys Sophomore Division. Hall's time was 16:28. Hall will be looking to help his team defend their Central Mass title next week.

Phoebe Von Conta of Parker Charter was unchallenged in the girls sophomore race. Her time was 19:14.

Tyler Morris of Weston High School ran the fastest 3K of the day. Morris ran away from the pack early in the race and cruised to victory. A few weeks ago at the Twilight meet, the freshman from Weston ran 16:26 on the fast Barnstable Fairgrounds.

Manchester Essex freshman Eve Feuerbach took command of the race in the last half mile and ran to victory in the girls freshman race. Feuerbach finished 3rd place at last year Emass meet with a time of 18:57.


Parker Charter Senior Zach Rolfe won his second major race in as many weeks. Yesterday he won the D2 JR-Sr Boys race in 16:22. A few weeks ago, he ran 15:47 to win the D2 Twilight meet.

Rita Maurais of Hopedale High School won the D2 Jr-Sr in 18:54 over Jaylan Fraser-mines of Tyngsborough. Those two will lock horns two more times in the weeks ahead. Fraser-Mines time was 19:03.
