Division 2 Photo Recap!

Even without Thomas Ratcliffe, who ran at the Pre Classic this weekend in the mile (4:07.63), Concord-Carlisle boys still won the 4x800 over North Andover in 8:05.16. However, this did not stop the North Andover Scarlet Knights from winning the D2 Boys team title.

North Quincy's Emily Bryson held off Allie Morris, Walpole's trusty two miler, in the seeded section of the Girls 2 Mile yesterday. Bryson finished in 11:04.74, while Morris crossed the line in 11:15.98.

Olivia Weir of King Phillip kicked with 200 meters to go in the Girls 800. Samantha Colette chased her down in the final 100, but couldn't top Weir's incredible kick. They crossed the line in 2:16.18 and 2:16.40, respectively.

Natick outkicked Reading in the 4x400 and crossed the line in 3:23.12. Natick also won the 4x100, and tied the meet record of 43.08!

NDA Hingham's superstar hurdler, Bella DiMare, does it again! She won both the 100 Hurdles (14.87), the only girl to break 15 seconds, and the 200 (25.58). She was an instrumental role in winning NDA the Girls team title and also ran in their 7th place 4x400 team! Her teammate, Julia Marshall, won the heptathlon earlier in the day.

Matt Dynan of Reading won the Boys Mile in 4:23.07, and also anchored his team to second place in the 4x400.

Sierra Irvin surprised everyone when she anchored Hingham's 4x800, as she usually competes in shorter races. She split ~2:21 and scored Hingham a solid 4th place. In the 400, she beat rival Ashley Lewis with a time of 56.65.

Thomas D'Anieri of Wellesley ran 9:40.90 and won the Boys 2 Mile.

KICK OF THE DAY: Hingham's Julia Noble, after only qualifying in the mile last week at the NDA Last Chance meet, came from behind with 150 meters to go in the first heat of the girls mile and won with a respectable 8th place overall (5:24.66). Noble also ran in the Hingham 4x800, which placed 4th in 9:45.88.
