The Needham girls DMR team poses for a picture after leading the entire race and finishing in 12:17.28! Kaleigh Hughes and Olivia Corkery (middle two) also led Needham's SMR to a victory in 4:14.01.
Peabody's Marcelo Rocha receives the baton in the 4x1600 with a comfortable lead over 2nd place Brookline. They cross the line in 18:09.74 and Rocha comes back to run a stellar 1200 leg in the DMR, leading his team to a tough 3rd place finish.
Billerica's all star 800 runner, PJ Garmon, who ran 1:52.79 at the Louck Games in New York, leads his SMR team (3:32.02) to a victory over Methuen (3:32.69) with a ~1:55 split.
Newton North rounded up 2 fantastic Shuttle Hurdles teams, and they took 1st (1:05.59) and 6th (1:09.16).
The Andover hurdles crew does it again, breaking an all division record (59.19) by 0.02 seconds! The unstoppable team of Sean Caveney, Andrew Matteucci, Justin Montrana (pictured), and Sebastian Silviera, cheered on by the crowd at Newton South, finished in 59.17!
Andover boys win both the 4x200 and the 4x400 in times of 1:31.31 and 3:23.44, respectively.
On the girls side, Andover's 4x100, anchored by sprinter standout, Hannah Ameen, broke 50 seconds, winning in a lightning fast 49.48.
