Of note: East Longmeadow offers a short, flat and fast 2.67 (4300 meter) course which starts on the outside
of the Athletic Stadium and concludes on the Track. Students shall take one full lap before finishing at the
common finish.
This course is very fan friendly as you can watch the start up to the first mile, and then the entire finish from
virtually any spot on the campus.
Since this meet is early in the season, coaches also have the opportunity to actually "see" how their students
are faring against competition and have exposure to a multiple school meet in preparation for the post season
and other tournaments sponsored by the MSTCA.
This meet is intended for teams that are starting out, developing, or otherwise very young and inexperienced.
Teams are also encouraged to bring a non perishable item per student so that we can make a
donation to the local food bank on behalf of the MSTCA as well as in Ted's name.
