The first two major meets of the season are scheduled for Saturday.
Martha Vineyard High will host its 13th annual Vineyard XC Invitational at Oak Bluffs. The meet features 22 schools, including defending champions Plymouth North (boys) and Shepherd Hill (girls). The first race is scheduled for 11 a.m., a freshmen co-ed event. Two junior varsity races and a pair of varsity races follow. Also on Saturday is Northampton High's 19th annual Clipper Relays, a series of 3x2 Mile relays at Maudslay State Park. The girls start at 9. The boys begin at 10:30 a.m.
