Girls' 55m Title Determined By A Lean?

Before the indoor season even started last year we all knew who was going to win the girls' 55-meter dash. Norton's Brooke Lynn Williams was the defending state champion and nearly a half-second faster than her closest rival entering the season. She lived up to the hype with another dominant year, capped by her second straight title. This season, it's anybody's guess with a handful of worthy contenders. As for the state meet, mere hundredths of a second could determine the winner. A few of the sprinters we believe have the potential to be there at the end - Wachusett's Victori Steffon (7.24), Minnechaug's Kyla Hill (7.29) and Natick's Rachelle Parker (7.32)
