Tristan Shelgren, St. John Prep
The last time Shelgren competed at Wrentham he posted a very impressive victory over Newton North's Andrew Mah at the Frank Kelley Invitational where he was timed in a personal best of 15:24. He has been red hot this season with a list of impressive victories, including a win in the Championship race of the Ocean State Invitational. He recently won the Catholic Conference Championships. Like the Frank Kelly meet, Shelgren will be matched against another high-level runner in the Division 1 junior/senior race with the presence of Oosting on the line This could be the race to watch at the meet between two gutsy competitors with no-quit attitudes.
