Wachusett Invitational
The Wachusett Invitational will include 27 high school teams that will compete in three different class races - Class A, Class B and Class C. Six middle school teams have also registered for Saturday's race. Among the notables, St. John's, last week's winner at the Bowdoin X-C Classic, is listed for the Class A race. Look for some excitement in Class C where the possibility of a duel between Hopedale's Brandon Hall and Parker Charter's Nico Agosta could materialize on the trails. Both are coming off strong races from last weekend's Ocean State Invitational. Agosta won the Varsity Division 1 race in 16:38. Hall was fifth in the Championship race where he clocked 16:02.14.
