BOYS' 200m
This is a race that matches three runners that have broken 22 seconds this season. The top seed is Somerville junior Phillips Magre, who clocked 21.6 at a league meet a few weeks ago. Magre was a third-place finisher in the 300m dash at the All State Meet this past winter. Needham's Davonte Burnett clocked 21.7 in a dual meet on Wednesday, is also in the field. Burnett has proven to have quick speed out of the blocks. He was third in the 100m at last year's All State Meet, an event he owns a best of 10.79. Shaq Joseph of Somerville could also challenge up front with a 21.8 best from a few weeks ago. Among other quality competitors is Newton North's Jordan Greene, who recently clocked 22.0.
