Records Fall At Freshmen-Sophomore Meet

Natick sophomore Grace Connolly, the Division 1 state cross-country champion and Foot Locker All-American,  was a convincing winner in the two-mile run. She finished with a first-place time of 10:58.59, a meet record by more than five seconds.  She was nearly 38 seconds ahead of her closest pursuer.  Her season-best effort currently ranks No. 6 in the country.

The final two meet records were set by the Lexington boys in the 4x200m relay and the Central Catholic boys in the 4x400m. The Lexington quartet of Alexander Hiser, Kazu Uda-Thach, Brian Mer and Riley Walsh combined for a time of 1:35.86. In the 4x400m, Central Catholic's foursome was timed in 3:40.75.
