Local Teams Streaking To The Top !

This past week the team from Hamilton Wenham High School captured its 133rd straight dual meet victory. The Generals victory was thought to have tied a National record, but after a little research they are not quite topping the list. In the spirit of full disclosure, I kind of have a horse in the race as my Norwell High School team captured its 138th consecutive Dual meet dating back to 1996. The South Shore League is obviously not as strong as the Cape Ann League, but this is about taking care of business in your respective league and both teams have accomplished that year in and year out.

This kind of got the wheels turning to find out where these Mass teams ranked around the country. I called out to some of my Milesplit Co-workers across the Network to find out who has the most consecutive wins. The girls from Pearl River, NY have a current active streak of 212 consecutive victories and counting.  I can't quite confirm if that is our National Record, but it is most definitely our current active leader.

I have included a list below that is a work in progress. I will update it as I get more responses from across the Milesplit Network.
