In 1995 after a 37 Year political nightmare the Reggie Lewis Center opened its doors. The driving force was longtime MSTCA leader and former Melrose Coach Bob McIntyre.
"The 37-year wait was worth it. Everybody that comes heres leaves in awe. This place is everything we hoped it would be and more." said McIntyre.
- The other critical change in this decade was the change from Yards to Meters in all events under 1000M.
- The Brockton Boxers under legendary Coach Harry Allen won 5 Division 1 titles in the 1990's.
