General Information

 There will only be one heat each of the 2 mile boys and girls. Tents-If you set up tents, they should be behind the stands, not up against the fence, adjacent to the track. If you want to set up on the hill or by the flagpole, no problem, be prepared to stake down your tents. I would expect some wind in am. Bathrooms-Portapotties for the Boys    Girls-inside the school

I am also probally moving the clerking area  off the field-due to rain, so stay tuned! Packets will be underneath the chapel, look for the cross, directly underneath. We will have bibs for you and yor scratch sheets-all must be turned in by 9am. If you are coming late, let me know today.Again, when athletes are called, it is to get hip number, heat assignment-when you turn the scratch sheet in, consider all running events CHECKED IN.....Thanks again to all for chosing to come, looks like a great meet, can't believe its been 20 yearss ago, 1st year was 500 athletes 14 teams.....done by hand time.....

We have 71 teams, approx 1200 student-athletes competing. At the meet, be prepared to do your scratches at the beginning of the meet. D for declare  S -for Scratch -same as this past winter. So when athletes are called, they are getting their hip humber/heat assignment and off to the races they go!
 
             Logistics of the meet.
 

 

  • Buses will drop at the circle, then park at the Hingham Middle School-Directions will be provided when they pull up.

 

  • Coaches-pick up you declaration sheet-must be turned in by 9am.

 

  • All checks must be turned in at the finish, reminder this is not an MSTCA meet, I am not part of the single payment plan.

 

  • We will have 2 athletic trainers on site, by the finish line, if you need tapting -bring your own supplies.

 

  • Javelin[Grass runway] and Discus will be on the front field.

 

  • Field events all athletes competing must check in at the beginning of the event.  if the need to go to the runnig event, 15 minute rule applies.

 

  • We have some special guests at the meet this year, the authors of " If not for the perfect stranger" based on last years Boston Marathon along with so first responders featured in the book, will be available for autographs and will be handed out awards. The first 300 will receive a "Boston Strong" shirt compliments of New Balance/Marathon Sports for $20.   • Yes-we do have meet tshirts available too-first come, first serve.  

 

  • Please tell your parents there is an admission fee $3/$6 and concessions will be available
