The Boston College men's track team competed in the Valentine Invitational on Friday and Saturday on the campus of Boston University at the Indoor Track and Tennis Center.
On Monday afternoon the commissioner's office named freshman Joseph Doyle the Atlantic 10 Men's Indoor Track and Field Rookie of the Week. Doyle highlighted a group of qualifiers for UMass at the Valentine Invitational held on Feb. 12 and Feb. 13 at Boston University.

Fordham Athletics Hall of Famer Lauren Gubicza set 12 individual school records in her career which ended in the spring of 1993. That set of records had stood for over 16 years. That is until Friday, when junior Kerri Gallagher broke one of Gubicza's marks in the 800 meters at Boston University's Valentine Invitational.
