A Special Thanks From the MSTCA !

Thank you for supporting yesterdays Coaches Invitational XC Meet. We had over 3800 entries and processed about 3,000 athletes during the day. This was a huge undertaking and thanks should go out to all who worked the meet(37) but especially to meet director Rick Kates.

Thank you to those coaches who took the time to encourage their athletes to bring canned goods for those in need. The food pantries we donated to were estatic. They all claimed that their shelves were bear and this food will come in handy with Thanksgiving coming up. Its too bad that many of the schools did not participate. Thank you to those coaches who read their emails and brought in copies of the Emergancy Cell Phone forms for us to use in contacting you in case of an emergancy. Over 50 % of you did not bring the forms we emailed to you. We hope in the future you will bring your forms already filled out to the registration table. The purpose of this form is to be able to contact you if one of your athletes goes down during a race. It is very difficult to contact you otherwise.

Thank you to those who instructed your athletes to stay off the hospital grounds and outof any buildings on site. We did have three schools who went on the hospital grounds and they could jepodize our invitation to continue to use those grounds. We need your help again next week.

Good luck next week......Frank Mooney
