MVC Girls Cross Country: Haverhill, Andover in title hunt

The Merrimack Valley Conference has enjoyed terrific success over the last decade and that should continue even while the balance of power may be shifting.
Haverhill, which was second and fifth, respectively, at the Eastern Mass. Division 1 meet the last two years, remains strong even while its numbers have declined. Chelmsford continues to contend but Lowell has taken a step up in recent years and Andover, despite the loss of Maggie Mullins, is on the rise and has moved up to the MVC large division.
