ADRIENNE PASCUCCI, Northampton girls indoor track
Class: Junior
Accomplishments: Despite stumbling at the start, set a school record in the 55-meter hurdles at a meet at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston Thursday with a time of 9.31 seconds; also ran on winning 4x400 relay team, which posted the second-best time in the state this season with a 4:14.66; won the long jump, high jump and 55 hurdles in the Pioneer Division at a PVIAC meet Dec. 16 at Smith College, and the long jump and 55 hurdles the previous week.
Of note: High honors student was an All-Scholastic first team selection last season for indoor and outdoor track; also first team choice for field hockey in the fall; reigning Western Mass. high jump champ for indoor and outdoor track.

Pascucci on the start of the season: "I'm happy to start off pretty-much where I started last year. But I'm happy our team is also doing really well. We're shooting for Western Mass. and we just keep planning on that and getting points in the Western Mass. meet."
Coach Nate Kraft on Pascucci: "She's really talented in a lot of events and works hard in each of them. That's impressive because there is a wide-range of events she has to work at between the jumping, the hurdles, and even running mid-distance."
