  • The Boston College women crushed the field behind the stellar performances of Bridget Dahlberg (17:46), Hope Krause (17:46), and Liv Westphal (17:48).  The trio went 3-4-5 for the Eagles and helped secure the 38 point win over Boston University (73 points).

  • The men's race wasn't so lopsided, as UConn needed pack depth to hold off Dartmouth.  The Huskies created a 48 second 1-5 gap to amass 149 points and secured the win by 43 points.

  • Glarius Rop of AIC and Katie Matthews of Boston University both ran away from their respective fields early to notch decisive wins.  Rop covered the 8K course in a very swift 24:12, while Matthews scored a 15 second win by finishing the 5k course in 17:18.

  • All four races were packed with former Massachusetts prep stars from last year.  Stephen Sollowin of Northeastern (formerly of Weymouth) finished 5th in the Sub-Varsity race with a time of 26:15.  He was followed closely by Dan Gordon of Stonehill (formerly of Plymouth North) who finished 8th in 26:28.  On the women's side, Allison Lanois of Dartmouth (formerly of Hanilton-Wenham) finised 8th in the Sub Varsity race (19:09).  Kathy O'Keefe of Boston College (formerly of Newton South) finished 16th in the Sub-Varsity race (19:24), while Eva Lauer (formerly of Wellesley) finished 38th in the Varsity race (18:43).

  • Middlebury freshman Katie Carlson, formerly of Wachusett Regional, finished 61st with a time of 19:02.  Carlson was the 5th runner for Middlebury who is currently the top ranked Divison III team in the country.
