With the Massachusetts outdoor track & field season all wrapped up, today we take the time to highlight ten of the top boys performances across the Bay State in 2026.

Sprint & Hurdle Events - Top Performers

Amar Skeete, Catholic Memorial - The state champion in the long jump ended his season undefeated, going 51-2 at Thursday's Meet of Champions. The junior finished the season with the top mark in the Bay State, as well as the 7th best in the United States. He also finished 2nd in the long jump last week.

Gable Gray, Chelmsford - The senior was one of the country's best in the javelin, finishing 2nd at the Penn Relays before winning a MTSCA D2 title a week later. He will be headed to Rutgers this fall and the US #14 thrower enters college with a personal best of 216-7.

Nicholas Askjaer, Cohasset - The junior was one of the state's very best throwers in 2026 and will enter his final season amongst the nation's most dangerous in the two events. He won state titles in the shot put and discus, while also winning the two events at the Meet of Champions last week, capping off a season where he finished with the state's top mark in the shot put.
