Haley Dube (Amesbury) ran 12.92 in the 100 meters at the Henry Sheldon Invitational on May 16, dropping from her previous best of 15.00 set in April 2026. The freshman ranks #109 in the state and #15 among first-year athletes, placing fifth in a field of 16 competitors.
Abena Kwarteng (Bay Path Regional Vocational Tech) clocked 12.76 in the 100 meters at the CMAC "D" Championship on May 13, improving from 14.08 set in May 2025. The junior's time ranks #74 statewide and #7 in her class, setting a Bay Path school record while placing fifth among 20 runners.
Jeremiah Kinsumba (Leicester) ran 9.95 in the 100 meters at the CMAC "D" Championship on May 13, improving from his previous best of 11.30. The senior's time ranks #1 among 5,311 Massachusetts athletes and set a Leicester High School record while winning the 22-athlete field.
Gamaliel Kassa (Shrewsbury Senior) ran 11.10 in the 100 meters at the Boys Algonquin vs. Shrewsbury MWIL Dual Meet on May 13, improving from 12.32 set in April 2026. The freshman ranks #57 statewide and #3 in his class, placing fourth among 57 competitors. Kassa also cleared 5-6 in the high jump, improving from 5-4.
Noelle Trull (Newton Country Day) ran 15.70 in the 100-meter hurdles at the NEPSTA DII Championship on May 16, improving from 16.76 set in May 2026. The sophomore ranks #18 statewide and #2 in her class while setting a school record and winning the 14-athlete field. Trull also cleared 4-8 in the high jump and ran 46.41 in the 300-meter hurdles.
Ava Sandberg (David Prouty) ran 12.54 in the 100 meters at the CMAC "D" Championship on May 13, improving from her previous best of 13.68. The mark ranks #38 among 4,907 Massachusetts athletes, with Sandberg placing third among 20 competitors. She also jumped 15-6 in the long jump, improving from 15-1.5.
