On Tuesday night at the Toms River Bubble Colts Neck's Cole Tucker hit a massive PR of 62-08.25 to move up to US No. 2 and take over the New Jersey state lead.

The Boston University bound senior broke his own indoor school record of 57-05 set in 2020 during the NJSIAA Group 3 State Championships.

Through the 62-08.25 is an impressive PR Tucker had shown signs of breaking out a big mark during his fall and winter outdoor competition. He threw over 60 feet outdoors three times at various meets held from November through January.

Watch the entire final flight above, the 62-08.25 came on the last throw.

The star thrower will be heading to the adidas Indoor Nationals meet in Virginia Beach, which is running from February 26th through February 28th. A number of star throwers from New Jersey will be competing and Tucker stated he's looking forward to competing at the event with familiar faces around.
