The Story Of Claire Walters: On P.A.U.S.E.

No single family in the history of High School Cross Country has had more success than the Walters Family. With seven team Cross Country National Titles between three siblings, and two more younger siblings just entering High School, the family already combines for over a dozen All-American trophies from the Cross Country National Championships, as well as additional wins and podium finishes at Penn Relays, States, and Indoor Nationals on the track.

However, it's now 2020, and the Country is changing. COVID-19 is shuttering New York, and Governor Andrew Cuomo has enacted New York State On P.A.U.S.E., putting the third largest State under a shelter-in-place order, which requires residents to socially distance from anyone not in their immediate family.

What happens when Claire Walters, a graduating senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School in upstate New York, finds herself devoid of her final season of High School Track amongst the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic?

This is the story of Claire Walters: On P.A.U.S.E.
