Throwback: 10-year-old Sabree Brooks Demolishes 100m Record

Could Sabree Brooks be the next big youth sprint star?

A year ago, the Athletes Lives Network Sports 10-year-old athlete shattered the AAU Junior Olympic national record at 100 meters, blowing by the field in 12.76 (+0.5) seconds, which stood two tenths behind the world age group record of 12.54 set by Tia Jones in 2011.

Jones recently qualified for her third straight USA Junior team in the 100mH and has an illustrious high school career thus far, breaking the national record at the same event.

Can Brooks follow in Jones' footsteps?

Check out her race from 2017 above.
