All State Finals: Let's Take One Last Look

Lowell won the school's first-ever team title at this weekend's meet and Richmond Kwaateng was a big part of it. Kwaateng captured a competitive 100-meter dash where the top five broke 11 seconds. The speedy sophomore clocked a winning time of 10.70, mere meters ahead of another gifted tenth-grader, Ethan Clark of Westboriugh (10.78). Kwaateng also finished fifth in the long jump with a leap of 22 feet, 8 inches and ran a leg on Lowell's second-place 4x100m relay that was timed in 42.35. Shrewsbury won this one, edging its' rival with a 42.26 effort.
