Classic 4x400-meter Duel
Not one. Not two. But three teams broke the boys' meet record in a thrilling 4x400m relay at the Division 2 meet. Hingham High won this one with a sizzling time of 3:20.62. The Harbormen were challenged right to the final stages of this race. Finishing second and third, respectively, were Woburn in 3:21.69 and Reading Memorial at 3:21.92. All three squads smashed the MR of 3:24.10 by Xaverian Brothers and the All-Division mark of 3:22.60 by Woburn.
