Jacqueline Gaughan, Exeter (NH)
Gaughan is our defending champion. Last year she ran a nearly 10-second best with a PB of 4:52.90. Even though she's proven that she has the speed for the mile, Gaughan's forte is the longer distances. She is two-time Foot Locker Cross-Country All-American, finishing fifth this past December. Last month at the Dartmouth Relays, she captured the two mile with an all-time best of 10:20.77, currently No. 1 in the country. She's a hardy competitor and certainly someone that can contend up front this weekend.
