Thirteen Events To Watch At Divisionals

Central West Division 1 Boys' 400m

This race features two-time defending champion Rodney Agyare-May, who we know is itching to match last year's success where he had a personal best of 47.67 at the New Balance Nationals. Thus far this season, the Burncoat senior has gone under 50 seconds twice. He finished second at the Loucks Games earlier this month with a season best of 48.76. Last week, he won the South Shore Principals Twilight Meet with a time of 49.37. He did that after winning his preliminary heat of the 200m with a PB and the meet's fastest time of 22.26. If he's pushed, we certainly feel he can dip under 48 seconds. A few that would certainly give him a challenge are Algonquin's Everett Pirtle (49.45), Wachusett's Manni Peri-Okonny (50.33) and Groton-Dunstable's Riley Patten (50.45) to name a few.
