The granddaddy of all track & field meets begins this week with the 121st  annual Penn Relays Carnival in Philadelphia, held from Thursday to Saturday. In the City of Brotherly Love, Massachusetts will have a handful of athletes from both high schools and colleges. Keep in mind, this meet will be LIVE on FloTrack from start to finish.

Here's who will be at Penn.

Thomas Ratcliffe will be leading his Concord Carlisle team in the Boys Championship Distance Medley. The Patriots finished third at the New Balance Indoor Nationals. If you remember back to that race, C-C third leg John Kacher was hampered by a hamstring strain, but Ratcliffe was able to close in 4:02.36 for the 1600M Meter anchor leg.  The Drew Hunter Louden Valley team will be the favorite in the DMR. The Boys DMR is scheduled for 5:55 pm on Friday.

The Concord Carlisle girls Distance Medley will also be in attendance . They will be running on Thursday evening at 6:20 pm. The Patriot girls team finished 15th at the New Balance Indoor Nationals.

Fresh off of his 4:14 1 Mile performance at the New York Relays, Bromfield Senior Nick Steele will be running the Championship 3000M Run. The gun for the 3K is scheduled to fire off at 6:15Pm on Frifday.

Notre Dame Academy from Hingham will be running both the 4x100M and 4x400M Relays. They are scheduled to race at 11:10Am & 3:20Pm on Thursday. Notre Dame Coach Rick Kates and his team usually make the trip to Philadelphia by train.
