Catarina Rocha of Massachusetts, the 2012 Foot Locker cross-country runner-up, ran her last high school indoor track race in glorious style, breaking her meet record in the mile with a PR in last Saturday’s state championships. The Providence-bound senior, 18, from Peabody Veterans Memorial High, clocked 4:49.14 to triumph by 50 meters and erase the state meet record of 4:50.38 she set last year. Next up? A 10-day break before gearing up for spring.
