MIAA Central Mass Roundup ! Nov 10, 2014

A perspective often excluded from cross country recaps is that of the high school spectator. Crowds comprised of parents, siblings, students and local fans are what fill once-deserted, postseason golf courses and parks with energy, life and expectations. After runners are dropped off at buses in the early hours of race day, spectators dress in their spirited colors and pack the car, armed with directions to the course of the day. 

Worcester Telegram: Hopedale captures 5th straight title Nov 09, 2014

             GARDNER — It was another cross-country conquest at the Gardner Municipal Golf Course for Blue Raider Nation Saturday.  For the fifth straight year and the eighth time in the last decade, the Hopedale Blue Raider boys won the Central Mass. Division 2 championship.  Hopedale, with 62 points, was followed by Whitinsville Christian (78) and Parker Charter (158). 

Worcester Telegram: St. John's takes team crown, NM's Skelly repeats as champ Nov 09, 2014

GARDNER — St. John's placed five runners in the top 20 and captured its fifth straight Division 1 Central Mass. championship Saturday at Gardner Municipal Golf Course. The Pioneers finished with 62 points, Nashoba (69) was second and Shrewsbury (82) third. Those teams advance to the state championship Saturday at Franklin Park in Boston.
