HINGHAM - Though it boasted just one divisional champion, the depth of the North Attleboro High boys' track and field team made up the difference. The Red Rocketeers won the MIAA Eastern Division 2 Championship on Monday afternoon at Notre Dame Academy, earning the team's first divisional championship since 1991."It was a great day by our seniors all day long," said North boys' coach Derek Herber. "We had a great day on the field and a great day on the track." The lone North champion was a familiar one, Eric Beckwith, who threw for a first-place mark in the shot put (55-feet, 6-inches) and third-place mark in the discus (147-9). Austin Renzi also cashed in on a third-place javelin throw (169-10).
