The Boston College women crushed the field behind the stellar performances of Bridget Dahlberg (17:46), Hope Krause (17:46), and Liv Westphal (17:48). The trio went 3-4-5 for the Eagles and helped secure the 38 point win over Boston University (73 points).

The men's race wasn't so lopsided, as UConn needed pack depth to hold off Dartmouth. The Huskies created a 48 second 1-5 gap to amass 149 points and secured the win by 43 points.

Glarius Rop of AIC and Katie Matthews of Boston University both ran away from their respective fields early to notch decisive wins. Rop covered the 8K course in a very swift 24:12, while Matthews scored a 15 second win by finishing the 5k course in 17:18.

All four races were packed with former Massachusetts prep stars from last year. Stephen Sollowin of Northeastern (formerly of Weymouth) finished 5th in the Sub-Varsity race with a time of 26:15. He was followed closely by Dan Gordon of Stonehill (formerly of Plymouth North) who finished 8th in 26:28. On the women's side, Allison Lanois of Dartmouth (formerly of Hanilton-Wenham) finised 8th in the Sub Varsity race (19:09). Kathy O'Keefe of Boston College (formerly of Newton South) finished 16th in the Sub-Varsity race (19:24), while Eva Lauer (formerly of Wellesley) finished 38th in the Varsity race (18:43).

Middlebury freshman Katie Carlson, formerly of Wachusett Regional, finished 61st with a time of 19:02. Carlson was the 5th runner for Middlebury who is currently the top ranked Divison III team in the country.
