Winners Table Day 3

 

Tyler Sorensen CA won the boys 1 Mile Racewalk with a time of 6:23.62.  Abby Dunn ME won the girls Racewalk with a time of 7:33.42.  Trinity Wilson CA won the girls 60 hurdles with a time of 8.37.  Her 55H split set the Sophomore Class National Record with a 7.74.  Wallace Spencer PA won the boys 60 hurdles with a US#2 time of 7.87.  Desmond Lawrence NC won the boys 60 meter dash with a time of 6.93.  Ashton Purvis CA (Photo by Tim Fulton) won the girls race over Whitney Fountain NY 7.36 to 7.39.  Kendall Baisden MI won the 400 meter dash with a US#6 All-Time and US#1 53.23!  Sherriod Evans TX was the boys 400 meter champ with a US#1 time of 47.55 and added the 200 meter dash victory with a US#2 time of 21.37.  Colin Mearns Va won the boys seeded Mile with a time of 4:13.08.  Marielle Hall NJ won her 2nd NSIC championship with a One Mile time of 4:59.16.  Purvis returned for the 200 meter dash to claim a new meet record and tie for US#3 All-Time run of 23.22!!  Whitney Fountain NY was 2nd with a US#7 All-Time 23.48.  Phyllis Francis NY won the 800 meter run with a time of 2:07.54 for a US #1 and Joseph Woiwode MD won it for the boys in a US#2 time of 1:52.86.  Jeramy Elkaim NJ won the boys 2 Mile Run with a time of 9:08.35.  Lindsay Crevoiserat CT won the 5000 in Boston and then the 2 Mile Run at NSIC with a time of 10:30.60 and a US#6.  Shelby Ashe GA (Photo by Don Rich) won the weight throw with a new National Record of 65-4!!  DeMantha Catholic MD won the boys 4x400 meter relay in a US #1 3:17.57.  The girls of Benjamin Cardozo NY won the 4x400 in 3:46.45 for a US#3 Caroline Ehrhardt CAN won the girls triple jump in 40-11.5 and Justin Hunter VA won the boys triple jump in 49-09.25.  Jordan Yamoah NY won the pole vault in 15-05.75.

Wallace Spencer PA is the fastest qualifer out of the 60H semis with a time of 7.97.  Trinity Wilson CA was the fastest girls qualifier with a time of 8.40.  Her 55 split was 7.81 which tied for the National Sophomore Class Record.  Nick Vena NJ (Interview) (Photo by Don Rich) made the final on his third attempt with a 69-6.75 and won the shot put with a throw of 70-9.  Davis Fraker GA (Interview) wound up 2nd with a heave of 67-7.75.  Whitney Fountain NY is the fastest 60 dash semi-qualifier with a time of 7.43.  John Drabik NY was the fastest boys qualifier at 6.95.  Haddonfield NJ (Interview) won the boys 4xMile with a #2 All-Time 17:22.12, just missing the national record.  Morgann LeLeux LA (Photo by Don Rich) went 13-7 in the pole vault for the win, then jetted off to Boston for the Vault there tomorrow.  Hillsborough NH (Interview) won the girls 4xMile Relay with a time of 21:37.85.  Zamir Thomas NJ is the fastest qualifier in the boys 200 trials with a time of 21.51.  Ashton Purvis CA (Interview) was the fastest qualifier in the girls 200 trials with a time of 23.57.  Whitney Fountain NY (Interview) was 2nd fastest with a 23.93.  Kendall Baisden MI (Interview) is the fastest girls 400 qualifier with a time of 54.58.  Alistair Moona CAN is the fastest boys 400 qualifier with a time of 48.22.  Sheriod Evans TX is at 48.60.  Georgetown Prep MD (Interview) won the 4x800 from the 1st of 4 sections with a time of 7:48.99! Speed City CA won the girls 4x800 with a time of 9:09.xx.  Rich D'Ambrosio PA won the boys Pentathlon with 3590 points.  Urina Harrell CA won the girls Pentathlon with 3504 points.

Winners Table Day 1

 

Cicero North Syracuse NY won the girls DMR with a time of 12:03.19.  Justin Hunter VA (Photo by Don Rich) won the boys high jump, clearing 7' for a new US#1 clearance of 7-00.25.  Haddonfield NJ won the boys DMR with a time of 10:09.78 with a thrilling anchor by Jonathan Vitez who split 2:02 for his first 800 meters.  Medgar Evers NY won the girls SMR with a time of 4:03.03 from the 2nd to last heat.  Lorraine Graham MD won the long jump with a 20-2.50 to go over 20' for the first time this year.  Saint Anthony's NY (Interview) won a thrilling duel with Saint Joseph's by the Sea NY over the last leg of the SMR with a time of 3:30.76.  Saint Josephs was also clocked at the same time.  Marielle Hall NJ, ran the 6th fastest high school girls 5000 of all time with a time of 16:55.69 for the NSIC championship.  Sheepshead Bay NY (Interview) provided the first national record on the weekend with a blistering 28.93 in the Shuttle Hurdle Relay.  New Rochelle NY won the girls race in 34.80.  Trinity Wilson CA is the fastest qualifier out of the 60H prelims with a time of 8.40.  Her 55H split was 7.81, which ties the National Sophomore Class Record.  Wallace Spencer PA and Matt Bundy PA are the fastest boys qualifiers the same time of 8.02.  Ashton Purvis CA is the fastest qualifier out of the girls 60 dash with a time of 7.44 with Whitney Fountain NY right on her heels in a US#2 time of 7.46.  Kaelin Clay CA was the fastest 60 dash boys qualifier with a time of 6.95.  John Raneri CT (Interview) won the 5000 meter run from the 3rd of 4 heats with a time of 14:52.87.  Speed City Track Club boys (Polytechnic HS, CA) won their heet in the 4x200 in 1:28.79.  Five heats later Coolidge (Photo by Mary DiBiase Blaich) ran a 1:28.75 to win the 4x200 meter relay.  Taylor Stewart (London, Ontario) won the long jump in 24-10.75  On the girls side, Tara Richmond (Polytechnic High, CA) jumped 5-9.95 to win high jump.  Speed City TC girls (Polytechnic, CA) won the 4x200 meter relay in 1:40.45.

Emily Lipari NY (Interview) (Photo by Matt Shatkus) won the girls One Mile Run with a US#4 All-Time performance of 4:42.64 coming from 6th place with 1500 to go with a monster kick!!  Alex Hatz NY (Interview) (Photo by Matt Shatkus) won the boys One Mile in thrilling fashion as well, running a 4:05.5 for the meet record and US#3 All-Time.  His time was also the Junior Class Record.  Kirubel Erassa GA, coming off the 5000 win, ran a 4:07.28 for 2nd.  Brady Gehret PA (Interview) won the 400 in a time of 47.69 over James Harris 47.73.  Briana Nelson (Interview) won the girls 400 for the third time in a row with a time of 55.0.  Daryl Wesh VA (Interview) won the boys 60 meter dash with a time of 6.73.  Christal Peterson (Interview) won the girls 60 meter dash with a time of 7.50.  Kori Carter CA (Interview) edged out Bridgett Owens-Mitchell MI for the win in the girls 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.40 and a US#3. and Kendall Hayes TX (Interview) won the boys hurdles in 7.80 for US#1. Trevor Brown took 2nd in the 60H in 7.91 and Marquis Woodyard finished 3rd in 7.94 for a US #5.  Claudia Francis NY (Interview) joined her sister in NY as a 800 meter national champion winning with a time of 2:08.08 and a US#1.  Anthony Kostelac VA (Interview) won the boys 800 meters for a US#6 all time of 1:50.96.  Kyle Plante NY (Interview) won the girls 200 meters in 24.26 keeping her in the US#4 spot.  Aaron Brown CAN won the 300 for the boys in a US#5 time of 21.54.   Morgan LeLeux LA (Interview) jumped 13-6.25 in the Pole Vault to keep her in the US#1 spot and Arizona's Shaylah Simpson had a huge PR jumping to US#3 13-2.25.  Carlton Lavong PA (Interview) jumped 24-3.5 to win the long jump and Jarrett Samuals NC jumped 24-0.25 for second place.  Lavong already holds the US#1 jump of 24-11 and Samuals has the US#3 spot with a previous jump of 24-3.75.  Jennifer Clayton NY (Interview) won the girls long jump in 19-6.    In the 4x400 meter relays Garden City (Interview) girls from NY won the event in 3:50.7 and Trotwood OH won for the boys in 3:16.12.

The action kicks off at 9am eastern.  Stay tuned...  David Johnson TX took an early lead in the boys Pentathlon with a US#5 60H time of 8.01.  Western Branch VA (Interview) girls won the 4x200 relay with a time of 1:41.07.  Trotwood-Madison OH (Interview) won the boys 4x200 relay with a time of 1:30.04.  Kinetic TC (Saratoga Springs NY) won the 4x1 mile relay with a US#3 All-Time clocking of 20:15.06.  Blacksburg VA (Interview) held off Shenendehowa NY in the boys 4xMile with a time of 17:45.63 to 17:45.75.  Carlton Lavong PA (Interview) went 50-6.75 in the triple jump trials to take the lead and US#1 until Mark Jackson TX (Photo by Matt Shatkus) went 51-11 to go US#5 All-Time!  Garden City NY (Interview) went 4:02.84 for US#1 on Emily Megnes 2:11.8 anchor.  Western Branch VA (Interview) rolled to victory in the boys SMR with a time of 3:30.71.  Anthony Kostelac closed it out for Albemarle with a 1:51.7 anchor split.  Sheepshead Bay NY (Interview) won the Shuttle Hurdle Relay to go with their NSIC win.  McDonogh MA (Interview) won the girls Shuttle Hurdles.  Destiny LaLane NY (Interview) won the girls Mile Racewalk with a time of 7:29.31.  Trevor Barron PA won the boys Mile Racewalk with  a time of 6:06.13.  Briana Nelson SC is the fastest girls 400 qualifier with a time of 55.69, Michelle Brown NJ also under with a 55.76.  Brady Gehret PA is the fastest qualifier in the boys 400 with a time of 49.30. US#1 Blake Heriot OH is also through to the finals.  Kyle Plant NY was the fastest girls 200 qualifier with at time of 24.40.  Aaron Brown CAN was the fastest boys 200 qualifer with a time of 21.62.  Maddie Treasure TN (Interview) won the girls Pentathlon with 3600 points.  Kendall Williams set the freshman National Pentathlon Record with 3561 points.  Gunnar Nixon OK (Interview) (Photo by Matt Shatkus) wins the 1000 in 2:45.18 to score 4141 points in the Pentathlon for US#2 All-Time, but the key was his 7-00.50 high jump!!  The mark is also a Junior Class Record.  Michael Woepse CA (Interview) went 17-1.75 to win the pole vault with a new US#1 vault.  Fayetteville-Manlius NY (Interview) went US#1 and US#7 All-Time 9:02.8 in the 4x800!  Splits: Hannah Brown 2:17.7, Courtney Chapman 2:14, Kathryn Fanning 2:19.3, Katie Sischo 2:11.5.  Shaker TC, NY, (Interview)won the boys 4x800 with a time of 7:48.45.  Carla Forbes MA (Interview) won the triple jump in 40-2, just off the freshman national record.  Dustin Brode OH (Interview) won the boys shot put. Dwayne Golbek OK won the boys high jump with a clearance of 6-10.75.  Megan Goethals MI (Interview) won a loaded girls 2 Mile Run with a US#5 All-Time clocking of 10:10.14 over Emily Sisson MO, (Interview) 10:10.21.  Aisling Cuffe NY was 3rd in 10:11.65 and Joanna Stevens VA was 4th in 10:12.21.  Jim Rosa NJ (Interview) won the boys 2 Mile Run with a time of US#1 time of 9:00.36Jake Hurysz NC was 2nd in 9:02.29 for US#2.

Kirubel Erassa GA (Photo by Matt Shatkus) (Interview) lit up the Reggie Lewis Center in the boys 5000 meter run with a US#2 All-Time performance of 14:19.82 for the win. This was Erassa's first time running on an indoor track, he was under record pace through 3200-(9:04). Lindsay Crevoiserat CT (Interview) did likewise in the girls 5000 with a US#3 All-Time performance of 16:51.88 (meet record). Crevoiserat used a powerful kick over the last 400, using laps of 35-31 (66) to easily pull away. Kinetic (Interview) girls running club put up an all time US #3 time of 11:38.60 in the DMR (meet record).  Hamden Boys (CT) (Interview) won the boys DMR in 10:07.58 behind 4:09.5 split from anchor Chris FitzSimons.  Hannah Meier MI (Interview) won the girls freshman mile in 4:56.91.  Her sister Haley took second in 5:00.01.  Sean Willard VA (Interview) won the boys freshman mile.  Melissa Kurzdorfer (Photo by Matt Shatkus) (Interview) threw the weight for a new meet record and a US#1 61-4, her throw was a NY state record & US #3 All-Time. Taylor Burke (Medina, OH) (Interview) won the girls high jump with PR and a US#2 of 5-10.75. Burke was competing in only her 2nd meet of the year, as she plays basketball in the winter.   Alex Faldermeyer (Minisink Valley, NY) won the weight throw with a distance of 85-10 coming close to his US#1 mark of 86-3.5.
