Boys 4x400m is on the track, should be a good one to end the meet between Andover, MA & Mansfield, MA . Andover avenges last week's lost with a 3:22.71 win over Mansfield 3:24.21. Tewksbury ran 3:58.75 to win the girls

Thrilling two mile won by Chris Bendtsen (Wolcott, CT) wins 2 mile 9:15.36(US#1)  (4:44-4:31) mile splits. Henry Sterling (NYA, ME) wins section 1 of  Boys 2 mile 9:29.64

Chris McConnell (Andover, MA) repeats as 55m champ 6.39

Teyanna Green (Danbury, CT)  wins 55m (7.14) to complete the sprint double 300m/55m plus a 4x200 Relay win


Boys Hurdles  Greg Boursiqout (Stoughton, MA) 7.48 (US #13) over Rodrigo Souza (Old Saybrook, CT) 7.55

 

Girls 2 mile Lindsey Crevoiserat (Glastonbury) through the mile in 5:12 in section 2, wins in 10:30.55 (US #5), meet record . Lianna Rubinoff (Cheverus) wins section 1 11:30.4. Crevoiserat will be running 5k and SMR in Boston at NIN then head to run the 2 mile in NY next weekend

 

Chris McConnell (Andover, MA) 6.43 leads boys 55m qualifiers

 

Teyanna Green (Danbury, CT) wins 300m 40.24

 

Arianna Vailas (Manchester Central ,NH) the #10 seed blasts last lap in 35 to win 4:56.37 to set a New England record and win over Sarah Berry (Barrington, RI) 4:56.93, also under the old record.

Steve Harshman (Merrimack, NH)  (US #12) for 600m 1:21.77

 

Nick Ross (East Greenwich, RI) runs (US#7) in 1k out of slower section to win 2:29.46

Boys Mile  Will Geoghegan (Brunswick, ME) 4:14.94 outkicks US #3 800m runner Mark McCauley (Greely, ME) 4:15.43 as both set huge lifetime bests

 

Boys SP Dominic Filiano leads qualifiers into finals with 60+ ft throw

 

Boys 4x200 on track   Andover, MA repeats as champion 1:30.20

 

4x200 G- Danbury breaks meet record 1:41.47improves their time (US #5)

 

Just talked to Chris FitzSimons  (Hamden,CT) he will only be running 4x800 & 4x400 today, while going DMR & 800m at the NIN meet.

 

Girls 4x200 on the track, Boys LJ finals starting, bar is up to 6'7 in HJ

 

Boys 4x800- Hamden CT wins section 2 8:01.27 with anchor leg from Chris FitzSimons, Cheverus, ME 8:02.33 in 2nd. Bishop Hendricken wins section 1 8:07 

 

Girls 4x800 is underway - Cranston, RI -9:54.23 wins section 1, Lincoln Sudbury, MA rolls to an easy victory clocking 9:16.51 (US #7), Bishop Feehan, MA 2nd 9:24.91

Both HJ's and boys LJ are underway. Flight 1 is done is the LJ, flight 2 is on the runway, Imadhi Zagon (Portland, ME) the early leader 22'1

 

National anthem has been sung, took a moment of silence for long-time supporter Doug Speck, who passed this week after a battle with cancer.

 

The Atheletes have started warming up, 45 minutes untilt the field events get underway.

The Shot Put is one of the featured event of the evening, with three athletes over 60 ft.  Dominic Filiano (Lebanon, NH) is the #1 seed 63-3 1/2, which ties for #2 all-time in NE indoor history, less than 8 inches off the record held by Jeff Chakouian (Seekonk, MA). Filiano's throw is ranked 5th nationally. Also in the field are (US#11) Ryan Davilla (Lowell,MA) 61-01 1/2 & (US #13) Sam Bombaugh (Falmouth, MA) 60-4 1/4.
