Fastest among the 267 competitors was no surprise as Newton North's Theo Burba improved on his season-best from last week's Winter Festival with a winning time of 1 minute, 22.8 seconds, a clocking that ranks No. 3 nationally. Burba was tested in this event as Dedham's John Keaney trailed the junior standout for most of the race and was just 10 meters behind after the first 400m, which Burba went through close to 52 seconds. Keeney finished second in 1:24.06. The next three finishers in the race clocked 1:26 or faster - Worcester's Herlin Rijo (second, 1:24.42), Newton North's Raghav Kadambi (fourth, 1:25.24) and Newton North's Forrest Kaplan (fifth, 1:26.0)
