North Andover's Erick Duffy cleared 15-9 for the pole vault at the Merrimack Valley Conference Meet.
This past week saw MA schools participating in several different league championships. It was capped off over the weekend with the South Shore Principals Twilight Meet and the Notre Dame Last-Chance Meet. We took a glance at the results and picked out the performances we felt stood out from the rest. Now we want your VOTE! - In separate boys' and girls' polls last week, Andrew Mah of Newton North and Clare Martin of Newton South were our top vote-getters. Mah collected 56 votes for his record-breaking two-mile effort at the Coaches Invitational and Martin accumulated 37 votes for her 2:09 800m performance at the Loucks Games where she finished third overall.
