With the New England Championships over, New Balance Nationals is right around the corner, giving some of Massachusetts' finest athletes a chance to see how they stack up nationally. Many younger talented athletes are competing in the Freshman races, including standout ninth-grader Lucy Jenks of Newton South, who will also be competing in several Championship relays. MA also has many athletes competing in Emerging Elite events, which can produce fast times and huge PR's for athletes.
