After a few weeks of racing across Massachusetts and beyond, we have a much clearer picture of the top teams throughout the state. On the boys side, Lowell returns to their usual spot on top after two strong outings earlier this month. In the D2 field, Hopedale Boys stock is rising after their victory in Rhode Island and they begin to gain on #1 Melrose. The Ladies of Newton South are still sitting tight at #1, but we have yet to see them perform at a big time meet. Heading to NY last weekend for the Bowdoin XC Classic, Milton easily showed they are the best D2 team and currently the best team in the state!
