Great Post-Meet Interview with Needham's Margie Cullen and Sarah Armstrong
It was a great day for the Needham track program to the say the least with both their boys and girls squads winning the MIAA Division 2 team titles on Wednesday as well as their top girls distance runners Margie Cullen and Sarah Armstrong breaking a combined three meet records together.
Cullen started things off with a 4:51.14 victory in the mile, while Armstrong followed next wining the 1000 in a 2:53.63 performance. Cullen then came back to win another Division 2 title in the two mile in her second meet record performance in a short span at 10:44.
Apologies to Margie Cullen in advance for our stream announcer Steve Infascelli incorrectly identifying her as her teammate Sarah Armstrong in her two mile run. Easy to mix up the two trailblazers from Needham! Nonetheless, watch the three meet record breaking races below.
