Several records were tied or broken today at the Annual Mstca Freshman-Sophomore Large School Invitational.  North Andover High Jumper Catherine Flaherty tied a meet record in the High Jump, clearing the bar at 5'6".  Flaherty's jump is a Mass # 2 and US # 4 (ties with10 others). The girls 1000 Meter run was the race of the day, as three runners went under the meet record of 3:04.03. Kaley Richards of Lowell won the race with a time of 3:02.38 (Ma #4 , U.S. #13). She was followed by Arel Keklak of Lincoln Sudbury (Ma #5, US # 14), and Acton Boxborugh's  Sophie Antonioli (Ma #6, U.S. #15). 

 

The Boys Two Mile had Cambridge Ringe and Latin teammates Sam Stubb's and Daniel Aschale both breaking the meet record. Stubb's ran 9:38.31 ( Ma#6 , US # 13), Aschale finished in 9:38.61 (Ma#7 , US #14)

Sophomore Kate Gobi from Wachusett takes first in the girls one mile with a time of 5:22.66.

 

Catherine Flaherty of North Andover tied the meet record in the High Jump. Her jump of 5'6" is now tied for US # 4 .

 

Esu Aiemseged a sophomore from Cambridge takes first in the boys one mile with a time of 4:32.41.

 

 

Christina Galvagno from Newton North takes first in the girls 300 meter run with a time of 42.35.

 

Myles Holt from Natick wins the boys 300 meter run with a time of 37.07. 

 

Ashley Arroyo from Silver Lake wins the girls 600 meter run with a time of 1:42.93.

 

David Cusack of Wachusett wins the boys 600 meter run with his time of 1:27.59.

 

 

Jeff Santos of Brookline takes first in the boys high jump with his jump of 6-00.00.

 

Skylar Barthelmes wins the girls shot put with her throw of 34-03.00.

 

Kevin Joyce from Newton North takes first in the boys shot put and gets a handshake with meet director Lou Tozzi. His throw was 44-03.00.

 

Kaley Richards from Lowell wins the girls 1000meter run with a time of 3:02.38.

 

Max Michaud from Algonquin came on strong in the last lap taking first place with a time of 2:42.35 in the boys 1000meter race.

 

Hingham's Amy Kirk takes first in the girls 55 meter hurdles with a time of 9.33.

 

Zachary Kryznski from Central Catholic wins the boys 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.03.

 

Ally Isley from Wellesley wins the girls 55 meter dash with a time of 7.44.

Salvant Lovevindty from Walpole wins the boys 55 meter dash with a time of 6.77.

 

Alexa Babick from Lincoln Sudbury wins the girls two mile with a time of 11:51.31.

 

Sam Stubbs breaks a meet record and takes first place with his time of 9:38.31.
